The Royal College of Podiatry's Board of Directors

The Council is the Royal College of Podiatry's Board of Directors and is its strategic body. It has 14 members elected by the Voting Members of the College

It decides policy, sets the College’s strategic direction, provides oversight of the company,and approves key organisational changes.

Council meets several times a year and works to promote high standards of professional practice to ensure that the public has confidence in the podiatry profession. A large part of its role is to scrutinise the work of the organisation, set a positive tone and culture, seek assurance over the way in which the organisation is run and hold the Executive Team to account.
