On behalf of our members, we are a collective voice lobbying and campaigning on issues affecting you and the profession. We are at the forefront of the debate, ensuring that our members' views are heard loud and clear by politicians, policymakers and the public on issues relating to podiatry.
Stepping forward together
We work with stakeholders in all four nations of the UK to improve services for podiatry. We understand that health and policy are delivered differently in each nation, we therefore tailor our services to be as effective as possible.
Campaigning
We ensure that podiatry is high on the political agenda, through influencing Ministers, government arm's length bodies and policymakers. Raising the profile of podiatry is a priority for the College.
Consultations
Responding to consultations and involving a variety of members in the process when they impact on podiatry, podiatrists and the wider health ecosystem. Including clinical, regulatory matters and areas of public policy.

The Saks Report
The Royal College of Podiatry has published the Saks Report, a landmark report looking at the future of podiatry. It makes 28 recommendations on what the profession needs to do to develop, sustain itself and thrive in the future.
How you can join our community
Branches
Branches listen to and represent your interests within the College. With a great source of support and learning in your local area. A network to other members and a place where you can share ideas, support and encouragement.
Council
The Council is the Royal College of Podiatry's Board of Directors and is its strategic body. It has 14 members elected by the Voting Members of the College. Council meets several times a year.

Foot Health Week
Foot Health Week is one of the College's main campaigns, promoting our key message, that podiatry services are open for care. Providing you with resources to promote and create your own event to promote podiatry and the profession experts in foot and lower limb care.

Guidance for your future in podiatry
The Royal College of Podiatry regularly publishes reports on the developments within the profession, with a number of free resources to promote and provide guidance to the public to help you shape the future of podiatry.
Reports
The College regularly produces reports to develop the profession – whether that is the Careers framework as a tool for all clinicians to progress in their career, to the landmark Saks report. Each report is meant to give new information and pave a way for progress.
Research and audit
Research improves patient care and outcomes. Members have access to PASCOM. PASCOM-10 web-based audit system allowing you to collect CPD evidence. It can be used in a variety of healthcare environments.
Leadership
In the changing healthcare landscape, the role of the podiatrist as a leader is ever more important. This work aims to provide you with support for leadership development through courses, events, conferences, CPD and e-learning.

CHoPM and podiatry archive
The Centre for the History of Podiatric Medicine (CHoPM) collects and preserves records documenting the history of chiropody and podiatry. For use by members, students, academic research community and the public.
TALUS
As a member of the College, you can access the College's Learning Management System (TALUS) through the College website. This learning platform delivers tailored CPD and provides you with a dedicated space to learn and keep CPD records.
