Royal College of Podiatry attendance at UK careers fairs
Members are warmly invited to help man our stand at careers fairs across the UK
As part of our careers outreach activities, from August to early November the Royal College of Podiatry (RCPod) will be attending 16 careers events across the UK organised by UK Careers Fair – www.ukcareersfair.com. The events we are attending are matched with geographical areas where universities offer podiatry courses.
We have booked a premium stand at each of these events, which allows us the space to have a good cohort of podiatry representatives, and space for interactives and promotional materials. We are guaranteed a prime spot on the exhibition floor.
Our target audiences will be:
- 16-19 years-olds who have chosen the “science” route in subject choice, and
- Careers changers.
We are hoping that at each event our stand will be manned by:
- Recruitment staff and students from higher education institutions (HEIs)
- RCPod regional branch members
- Regional NHS Foundation Trust podiatry recruit.ment representatives
How you can help
We are now looking for members who work in private practice, and those who work for the NHS, to support us on the day and help promote podiatry as a career choice.
The events will run for approximately four hours, starting at 10am and finishing at 2pm. The College has already purchased tickets so there is no charge for you to attend.
