Improving Diabetic Foot Care: A Guide for Commissioners
This website is aimed at commissioners in the NHS in England. It will provide information on your local services and on how you can transform lives and reduce NHS costs through improved diabetic foot care.
We are the only specialised TUC-affiliated union representing chiropodists and podiatrists in the UK.
Wherever you work as a Podiatrist we are there to give you advice and support on Employment issues. Whether you are an employer, an employee, an apprentice or on a contract – we can give you advice and support’
Your next meeting space
Our two meeting rooms offer spacious meeting and events facilities for up to 30 people based within a short distance from London Bridge and Bermondsey tube stations. Centrally located by the banks of the River Thames, surrounded by iconic London landmarks like Tower Bridge, our meeting space offers a great venue with convenience and value for money.

Working in the NHS
- Podiatrist (band 5) £24,907 to £30,615
- Specialist podiatrist (band 6) £31,365 to £37,890
- Team leader, Advanced podiatrist (band 7) £38,890 to £44,503
- Specialist Registrar in Podiatric Surgery or Consltant Podiatrist in Podiatric Medicine (band 8 a – d) £45,753 to £87,754
- Consultant Podiatric Surgeon (band 9) £91,004 to £104,927
Working in Private Practice
- Working in a private practice you can earn around £20,000 – £50,000 per annum
- Owning a successful single chair private practice you can earn around £50,0000 – £250,000
- Owning a successful multi-chair private practice you can earn around £100,000 – £500,000
- Owning a successful multi-site private practice you can earn around £150,000 – £1,000,000+
