CPD

During this period members might want to undertake CPD. Over the coming few weeks, the College will be delivering and signposting members to free CPD.

The College is also working with key clinicians to do short/bitesize webinar updates on areas of practice which will include MSK, vascular and infection assessment.

Our colleagues in D-Foot international are also running a series of webinars related to diabetic foot disease. The first one is by Prof. William Jeffcoate on The Charcot Foot. Prof. Jeffcoate is a good friend of The College and has spoken at our national conference on a number of occasions.

He is a world expert on The Charcot Foot and you can register for the webinar here.

eIntegrity

As mentioned in yesterday’s update, as part of our partnership with eIntegrity, as a member of the College you can access more than 10 online modules covering Statutory and Mandatory areas, such as infection control and safeguarding plus access to the Antimicrobial Resistance and the Dementia Programmes. These are useful updates for all members, but specifically valuable for members wanting to return to the NHS.

In addition, a specific COVID-19 package has been added which is suitable for all healthcare workers. To access this you will have to register for the programme through the programme page. You will be prompted to log in to your account prior to registration and this will mean that all your learning is on one account.

If you work in the NHS and universities you are already able to sign up for this free with their NHS or university e-mail address. If you have an NHS email address, you need to register via e-LfH. If you have already registered, you can reset your password.

Non-NHS College members will have received an email from eIntegrity in January with their log-in details. If you didn’t receive this or think you may have deleted it and need your log-in details to be re-sent, please e-mail Stephanie White and we will arrange with eIntegrity to issue this for you. eIntegrity will be doing updates to their system weekly.
